Pet dog classes: - Puppies up to 6mnths, Intermediate and Advanced
These classes are to help you train your puppy to be a well behaved dog with good manners, and help it to be well socialised with other dog at an early age, this will help prevent antisocial behaviour later in life.

KC Good Citizen Award Scheme all levels.
There are four levels, Puppy, Bronze, Silver and Gold. The aim is to make sure that all dogs have basic obedience and that handlers are given the knowledge to be good dog owners.

Fun Agility for pet owners
This is purely for fun, the aim is to give people who don’t want to compete the Chance to try agility in a non-competitive environment. You will learn to use the dog walk, A frame, see-saw, jumps and tunnels.

Fun Fly ball for pet owners
Try fly ball and see how much fun your dog is having, helps you to get fit too. This is not for competition. The dog has to be able to catch a ball, and then jump over four small jumps to return to you.

For even more fun join our BFA Registered club "CLC Pirates", see Flyball page for more details.

Heelwork to music – just for fun!
This is moving to music with your dog in lines and squares as a team. The demonstration team has been filmed for Animal Planet and the 1999 team took part in the world record attempt, where they were part of a 61 dog strong event at Broadlands in Hampshire.

Clicker Training
Using a small hand held tin box that makes a sound like a cricket, we mark the desired behaviour, the dog soon learns that the noise means “Yes! You’ve got it”, once this has happened the world is your oyster as you can train your dog to do anything your mind can dream up. It is widely used to train Agility dogs, obedience dogs and assistance dogs.

Specialise in Rescue and Deaf Dogs
I have been working in this area for 20years, and have had a lot of success rehabilitating dogs and getting them into new homes. I have trained several deaf dogs using Barry Eatons methods, along with the use of a torch instead of a clicker (which of course a deaf dog can’t hear) to mark the correct behaviour.

Behaviour Modification.
Mainly done in the person’s home to correct unwanted or undesirable behaviours. I use kind, fair and effective methods, which I have learnt over the many years of training.
